NarrativeIn my Rhetoric 105 class that I am required to take a freshman at the University, we spent the entire semester relating our class work to the ruling of Brown vs. Board. Our main focus was on an author by the name of pack Baldwin, a prominent black writer during the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. As a requirement for the course we had to attend a campus event related to Brown vs. Board. in that respect were many events all over campus as a result of the campus celebration of the 50th anniversary of the ruling. My choice was to attend a speech given by a man named Julian Bond entitled The Broken Promise of Brown. Having never heard of this man, I took the recommendation of my teacher and attended with my notebook in hand. As I walked to Smith Memorial Hall located on the southeast corner of the Quad, I had no idea what to expect. My initial thoughts saw me as being the honest now innocence person in attendance and being surrounded by mostly black people. As I entered the doors of the building I heard a lot of talking and socializing coming from upstairs. At the bottom of the stairs was a sign indicating that there was a by invitation only reception upstairs. On my way into the auditorium I learned that Mr. Bond was not just a randomly chosen speaker but was instead the electric chair of the National Association for Advancement of Colored People. Since the auditorium was hardly filled and still believing that there was going to be a dominantly African-American crowd I came to the conclusion that the people upstairs must all be of African descent. After all, the major supporters of the NAACP are not white people. Inside the auditorium were mostly white people. Many of them were older and accompanied by what appeared to be a significant other. About 10 minutes prior to the beginning of the speech, the people from upstairs began to flowing into the auditorium and much to my surprise the crowd coming in was dominantly white. Almost everyone came in with anot her person. Some came in groups, some with a significant other and others with just a single friend. After the auditorium was filled, by my estimation it was 65-75% white. This was the opposite of what my initial thoughts were. In my opinion, I thought the speech would relate more to the black community and thus the crowd balance would reflect that.

Biography of fuck off TeresaMother Teresa was a wonderful woman and a great influence on the military man today. She was born in 1910 in Macedonia with the name Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu. She was born into a family of deeply religious Catholics. Agnes felt she got the calling to work for God at the recent age of fourteen. She joined the Loreto order and went to Bengal, India, to start her studies. In 1937, Agnes took her final vows to become a nun and has done much great work in the world since. Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu was born on August 27, 1910 to Nikola and Drana Bojaxhiu in Skopje, Macedonia. Drana and Nikola were Albanian and both were very deeply religious Roman Catholics. Nikola was a popular merchant and a colleague to an Italian merchant. He owned several houses and was a member of the Skopje town council. Whenever Agnes father would return from a trip, he would always bring his children presents. Also, he promoted his daughters education, which was unmatched in that time per iod. Nikola also was involved in an underground organization that worked to gain independence for the Albanians from the Ottoman Turks, who ruled Macedonia virtually the time Agnes was born. Agnes grew up around much fighting. When she was born, there were Albanian protests against the Turkish government. When she was two, she witnessed the First Balkan War. In that war, the Ottomans were defeated, but Macedonia was divided among the conquerors Bulgaria, Greece, Montenegero, and Serbia. The city of Skopje was distributed to Serbia. Albania received its independence in 1912, but Nikola continued his ultranationalistic work. He joined a movement determined to incorporate Serbia into the Albanian nation. In 1914, when Agnes was only four years old, World War I began. In 1918, her father was killed. Some nation believe that he was poisoned by enemies. Many people mourned his death because of his kindness and generosity. Drana Bojaxhiu and the family were left with little bullion and no manner of income. Drana worked hard to provide for her family. To get enough money, she became a dressmaker. Even though she had to work extra hard to make ends meet, Drana still found time and money to give to the lonely. When Agnes was young, she used to go on trips with her mother to visit the elderly, sick, and the poor. My grandfather grew up in Redford Michigan with 3 other siblings. His mom was named Pearl and his father was named Fred. My mother remembers That Pearl would make her eat them each time she came over and she hated them. Pearl was a housewife and his dad worked as a carpenter.
